PCIC has assembled station data for the canadian arctic. https://www.pacificclimate.org/data/western-arctic-weather-data. this is likely our best source of station data.

[ ] download the data and metadata
[ ] summarize the stations in terms of elevation range, duration/period of record, and variables available.
[ ] identify stations that are useful for establishing the climatology vs stations that are useful for other info such as lapse rates.
