Describe the Issue
Making Lambda@Edge available in AWS
Additional Context
Need to create a process to update SCPs
Acceptance Criteria
[ ] Enable Lambda@Edge
[ ] Add text to display in case a user starts opening a Lambda@Edge instance:
"If you intend to make use of this expanded service, you will need to contact your Ministry Privacy Officer (MPO) first. You may not need a new or updated Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for your service or activity, but you will need at least a discussion to determine if there are any unknown privacy risks and if any of the existing assessments need to be updated. The MPO can also provide you some best-practices for privacy and help determine if you need any newly updated “Collection Notice” or other element.
If you do need a new or updated PIA, your MPO can help you through the process. Our own privacy team (cloud.securityprivacy@gov.bc.ca) can provide you and your MPO resources to help simplify the process, including language from other PIAs, and general cloud privacy guidance. Feel free to reach out for more details and resources, or if you’re unsure on any of these privacy requirements. Be sure that you are satisfied with any configuration steps you need prior to any changes to your service or program.”
