Describe the task
Create an architecture diagram to support the STRA process. The diagram should clearly illustrate core system components, data flows, and network segmentation.
Purpose
This diagram will serve as documentation for the STRA assessment, providing insights to:
Identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks
Understand system boundaries and integration points
Assess the effectiveness of network segmentation
Evaluate data protection measures throughout the system
Acceptance Criteria
[ ] System Components and Boundaries:
The diagram should outline all core system components, such as servers, databases, applications, and any
external systems or services interacting with it.
Clearly distinguish what’s included in the system and what’s external.
[ ] Data Flow and Integration Points:
Illustrate how information moves through the system, including where it is stored, processed, and shared.
Specifically highlight any external connections where data enters or leaves the system.
[ ] Network Segmentation:
Show how the network is divided, indicating which parts can be accessed by internal users and which by
external users.
Include any special areas designed for added security, such as demilitarized zones (DMZs).
Additional context
This needs to be completed so we can move on with CTHUB.
