This would be really useful. As of now, the merged layers are not clipped to BC boundaries, is that right?
For an open-license B.C. boundary, I have been using the StatsCan provincial boundaries (Direct link here). Licensed under the Statistics Canada Open License Agreement.
Correct, no clipping to any boundary currently.
For the resource report restrictions scripting what I've done is to add a boundary definition as the final layer in the sources.csv. That fills in all the gaps and clips out anything outside BC - but doesn't deal with marine/terrestrial.
I can drop in that boundary for now - GeoBC should have a high resolution analytical available publicly soon. If you ask them about it, it might help move along publication.
Add a provincial boundary and land/marine definition to
sources.csv
and include this layer/layers as the final step in theprocess
function.
