Download process should use these when possible

No it can't actually, it's just a shortcut interface to the new web form

Direct downloads? You had my attention there for a moment. If there is a new web form downloading via bcdata may be broken.

I think the new webform is just a wrapper on the old one, so I think bcdata should still work?

Ok good. It does still work for me (using the CLI) on that dataset.
