Mat/Pat - Explore how to improve UX of tabs in wizard forms #1057

Currently in the mat/pat form, if an applicant is taking both maternity & parental leave, there are a few issues with the tabs -

  1. The tabs take too much screen real estate, pushing the form down. The applicant has to scroll down to see the form.

  2. With so many tabs, it harder to navigate them.

  3. It might be better if users are not able to jump around tabs until they have successfully finished a page in the form. It can also lead to some weird cases for form validation as in some cases we rely on input of a previous page to validate a field e.g parental leave start date

To address this some potential solutions are -

Needs to discuss as a team about the best way to go through - we can wait on this one and delay estimating until we are ready to start this ticket
