Tool: Opportunities to identify and retrieve current and correct source of data/information for team efficiencies

As a program area and developer team, we need to have accurate lists/datasets for data integrity and one source of information to avoid manual effort and technical workarounds to

• auto populate the forms with correct/current info or
• allow users to add info) into the following fields that typically are referenced/included in a form

1) ministry names (see Telework ticket #) 2) Employee work phone number (ticket #1152) 3) Approved email domains (see Telework ticket #

These workarounds, manual efforts were required for Telework form, Cold and Flu and Senior Leadership and will likely have some or all of these field needed in all forms.

Discussed with the PeopleSoft team about sync process between GAL and PS. Currently PS sends employee ID data to sync with GAL but does not pull data down.

A new process can be introduced to either sync data back down to PS for telephone numbers or bring down into the BI data warehouse.
