Describe the bug in current situation

Premium users are able to bypass entering a home jurisdiction number and the 'I don't have a corporate number' checkbox by selecting 'Submit the Name without checking'.

Link bug to the User Story

Impact of this bug Describe the impact, i.e. what the impact is, and number of users impacted. This is potentially impacting the ability to use the name request later in Corporate Online

Chance of Occurring (high/medium/low/very low) High - get at least one a week where this is an issue

Pre Conditions: which Env, any pre-requesites or assumptions to execute steps?

Steps to Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Login as a premium account user (BCREG0001)
  2. Go to 'Name Request'
  3. Click on "Register or Incorporate", Extraprovincial (Canada based), Limited company,
  4. Click a Canadian jurisdiction
  5. Where it asks to enter the home jurisdiction number, type in the name in the home jurisdiction
  6. See error 'A corporate number is required. Ignore this.
  7. Click "Submit this Name without checking
  8. Corporate Number Not Found popup window displays. Enter corporate name again here. Click Search
  9. Complete the name reservation request.
  10. Go to namex and search the NR. (sample NR 3254587)
  11. See the Name in the header to the left of the NR# - where it should not display the name after the jurisdiction. Note: happy path is for user to enter home jurisdiction # and it would then display after the home jurisdiction in NameX

Actual/ observed behavior/ results

Expected behavior Two possible ways... second option probably much easier to implement.

GIVEN I am a premium user AND select Register/Extraprovincial (Canada Based) or (Internationally based) OR select Restore/Extraprovincial (Canada Based) or (Internationally based) OR select Amalgamate/Extraprovincial (Canada Based) or (Internationally based) OR select Change the name/Extraprovincial (Canada Based) or (Internationally based) WHEN I enter the home jurisdiction name in the number field AND I bypass the "I don't have a corporate number" AND I click "Submit this Name without checking" THEN the system doesn't let me proceed and gives me more instructions...

OR

GIVEN I am a premium user WHEN I select Register/Extraprovincial (Canada Based) or (Internationally based) OR select Restore/Extraprovincial (Canada Based) or (Internationally based) OR select Amalgamate/Extraprovincial (Canada Based) or (Internationally based) OR select Change the name/Extraprovincial (Canada Based) or (Internationally based) THEN I do not see the "Submit this Name without checking" button

Linda will review with staff - let them know how the name gets up top in Namex and get their opinion on the two options for enhancements.
