As a user I want to know the applications on the BCROS home page are different and some are registries applications and some are partner applications

Thanks Tracey - what I'm trying to understand though is if the marketing page is a CM page or if it's a page inside the application as that affects which team would do it. I think this is an OCM task but I'm not sure. @trishreimer are you able to help clarify the above? Thank you! :)

Bring it up at PO sync, the OCM team doesn't code ;) It is the bcregistry.gov.bc.ca page which is the BC Reg overall marketing page "in the app". It isn't a CMS/gov page.

I would recommend that we discuss this when we start to rollout the new name for new SBC Digital Platform (SBC Connect).

Below are some thoughts/considerations:

• For Registry products (tiles), could we simply add BC Registries as text within the tile description and not make it something distinct in the footer?

• our future vision is to onboard and allow many other ministry partners to launch their product from the platform, so my initial thought, which we need to discuss, is knowing if labelling the tile is meaningful or necessary from a branding perspective. In a way, all SBC products on the platform are partners.

• People will be setting up an account on SBC Connect - not on a BC Registries platform, and they will be accessing many different ministry partner products.

• For next steps, once SBC Connect is approved, I would like to recommend we complete some user research to test the SBC Connect brand and include testing the importance of distinguishing the difference between Registries and partners on the SBC Connect platform...and see what our users say.

• My hypothesis is that most people currently recognize the "Registry" brand but may not know or care if it's "partner product"....and I don't think it matters if it's Registries or a partner product after we rebrand the platform from the "new bc registry app" to SBC Connect which has access to many digital government products.

• I'll add this tix to my tix for the sBC connect brand on the program board.
