UI Design - Find and Replace Contact Information within PPR and MHR #13885

Open tlebedovich opened 1 year ago

tlebedovich commented 1 year ago

We need to update the contact information to Tier 1 for all instances within PPR and MHR, so first we'll need to make a list of all the places this occurs.

Ultimately MHR and PPR should use a shared component to replace the individual instances of contact information so it can easily and quickly be updated in the future.

Contact info spreadsheet from Trish - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-pnZp-aJYLlVZK6KW9dWQtN1cXLRR4Os/edit

@mstanton1 - does this ticket still need to be done? The contact spreadsheet seems incomplete and a bit confusing to me. And doesn't mention MHR

@trishreimer @Maribeth-Wilson is the future state for support for MHR known? Is it still appropriate that we review PPR to switch to listing BC Registry staff as Tier 1?

trishreimer commented 1 year ago

As of right now, it is recommended that we use the same support model that we have in place today, for all products.

Tier 1 - Login/auth. - Maximus Tier 1 - PPR/MHR app support - BCOL HD. I thought I heard there were some exceptions for these apps, where some users will call staff directly (but I'm not 100% and I don't have it documented).

We recognize the support model is not clear and not easy to present to people in an easy to understand way. From what I understand, it's also not a priority to do a complete overhaul at this point but there may be some small incremental changes we could make. (??)

I'm meeting with Sinead this week to discuss so I'll see what the timing is to make some improvements. If your team has suggestions, it would be great to connect. Thanks.

@trishreimer thank you for the information. Given the support model does not need update at this time I've added an "On Hold" label to this design ticket. When it's clear that this work is needed, and will be implemented in the near future, we can remove the label and have somebody pick it up.

No recommendations from my team but I'll be mindful as ops tickets are raised and let you know if I flag key opportunities for improvement.

@trishreimer I believe BCOL will no longer be in use as of early July. Is there any design work needed here? /cc @arlentees
