OCM - Affidavit Process - Service BC #14694

To secure a BC Registries account a citizen must authenticate. One of the methods for authentication requires the Citizen to get an identity proofing Affidavit. The next phase of modernization will allow the Service BC Associates to complete the Affidavit for the Citizen

[x] complete form for review and approval
[x] review form with policy to publish
[x] Develop process with Service BC to include : identity proofing, form completion - form delivery - form storage -
[ ] SBC does not do Account Set up - get confirmed decision by BC Registries - who/where do they direct Citizen
[ ] Confirm date of go live - and deliver materials process and implement

Reviewed process with Service BC - a process that they already support for other items.

[x] Confirm process
[ ] Update website pages and guides to include "commissioner"
[ ] Advise all Help Desk of update
[ ] Determine launch date
[ ] Determine training review with SBC
[ ] Determine training review with BCOL Admin

Updates to web pages/UI must be included - and are extensive to the process moving forward. Schedule a meeting with Mags & Dev team to resolve.

Decision pending - @daniwilliamson are we doing to proceed with adding SBC to the affidavit process? or are we putting this on hold to prioritize Gov N work? Thank you

This one should be in an alright state on its own with Sarah on vacation. We are waiting for a decision on the 2fa process before moving forward.

@VarekBoettcher will we continue with the process of checking affidavit? @daniwilliamson do we want to onboard SBC @MeganFedora do we want to onboard SBC

If we are continuing this process and we've done the policy work to ensure we're not concerned about a commissioner vs notary then I would support onboarding SBC.
