PPR transition documents don't specify the previous registration information

Describe the bug in current situation PPR search outputs for registrations that have transitioned do not specify the registration was previously registered.

Impact of this bug This impacts approximately 6300 "transition" registrations and can have impacts pertinent to assessing applicability and relative priority.

Chance of Occurring (high/medium/low/very low) High. This will occur in all cases for transition registrations. However, transition registration types make up a small portion of the total number of PPR registrations that could be searched.

Pre Conditions: which Env, any pre-requesites or assumptions to execute steps?

Steps to Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Complete a PPR search on any registration with a transition registration type that has not been discharged.
2. Review the header.
3. Compare to a search of a transition registration from the legacy system (note: these require the Avocette team to generate as a txt file)
4. Notice additional information provided in legacy search outputs that is not included in modernized search outputs.

Actual/ observed behavior/ results

Expected behavior The additional information should be available in a modernized search output for a PPR transition type registration.

@tlebedovich I've logged this new bug for PPR transition outputs. The number of outputs impacted is small (~6300) but the impact for those users is fairly significant. Is this something you could look at a super simple design option for - or have the design team look at an option for? Do you want a separate linked design ticket?

@doug-lovett if additional information is added in the header (see images in ticket) does it need to follow the same format where there is a bold header on the left and information on the right? Do you know if the data we would need to populate in these fields is available or whether there's coordination with Avocette needed?

@mstanton1 looking at your example, there is a previous_financing_statements table in PPR that has a registration_type of "COMPANY ACT DOCUMENT" and a cb_date of "90JUN08" for PPR 4824076. But the corresponding cb_number is empty, so if we want to include the "Companies Branch - Inc#" value we will need to involve Avocette for a data export.

@mstanton1 - what is the "Companies Branch"? is this an older term for the BC Business Registry or the Corporate Registry? Should the name need to stay as "Companies Branch"

and should the Inc number have the "BC" include with the inc number as we write it in bc registries? ie BC3595582

@tlebedovich yes, Companies Branch is another way of saying Corporate Registry. I find it somewhat confusing having that specific wording, but since clients have been previously comfortable with it (and this is only applicable to ~6300 which will eventually be discharged) I wouldn't worry about updating the wording.

@mstanton1 - thanks - and what about the "BC" letters in front of the inc number? does that make sense to include for old inc numbers?

Thank you @tlebedovich . Inclusion of BC makes sense in my opinion. That gives the client the info they'd need to look something up today. That being said, when I look that number up in the corporate registry it's a company under the name of one of the debtors. I'd be inclined to double check with Sharon that the number in the blurb is referencing an incorporation number. She's off today so how about we confirm that at the requirements meeting this week?

@tlebedovich I was able to confirm with Sharon today on changing the incorporation numbering. She is in agreement. Please replace "Inc. # XXXXXX" with "BC0XXXXXX".

@mstanton1 @doug-lovett I can find the outputs in the PPR modernized TEST app but not in the BCOL TEST legacy system. I've tried quite a few. I confirmed with Doug that the data should be in TEST.

From Doug: the PPR registration numbers are from prod, but as test is a copy from prod from about 10 months ago they should be valid in PPR test as well. I don't know the state of the legacy PPR test data.
I'll try and find some that were amended/renewed within the last year but it may not help.

@catherinecarlson @mstanton1 To clarify, the legacy PPR TEST may never have synchronized with PROD and may not contain any transition registrations. Maybe staff can help find examples? Otherwise can Avocette search legacy TEST to try and find some registrations, or search for existing PROD outputs?

Request for documents has been sent to Avocette. PPR staff can complete a search in TEST but cannot access the output without Avocette because it runs in a job that isn't turned on. PPR staff cannot complete a search in PROD. A quick check of BCOL TEST did not generate the necessary match.
