Hi Kaine, I was thinking about our plan to market our services and I’d like to recommend adding an API tile to our landing page first, then start to branch out to other sites. By doing this, we could leverage our site as the source of truth for our API services, then we can link to this page from the common components page (from the Digital Plan) and this API page (which I didn’t know existed until yesterday).

As an MVP, we could link to the existing API site. Then, I’d like to add some info to explain why someone would want to use the API’s, as maybe a new tile (e.g., Why would I use the API’s?) or we could add to the “Explore the API’s” tile.

What are your thoughts?

If you think it’s a good plan, I would be happy to run it by the Directors, PO’s, and if they are in agreement, I can write the text and work with the design team to push it forward.

Hi Team, I am working on marketing our services and would like to propose we add a new API tile to our landing page. The API tile could link to the existing API site for now.

Then, on the API site, I will add some info to explain “why” someone would want to use the API’s, either as a new tile (e.g., Why would I use the API’s?) or we could add to the “Explore the API’s” tile.

After this work is completed, I’ll continue the work to add the API info to the common components page (from the Digital Plan) and this API page.

Design Team: I’d be happy to mockup up the API tile for you to edit and finesse, if that works? I’ll also add this to our design sync meeting tomorrow for discussion.

@trishreimer in Design Sync was it discussed who is doing design? I notice in your comment above you've offered, but am not sure if that was decided upon or whether a designer will tackle it? For this to fit in the next sprint we'd need a design that's ready to go.
