Create options matrix to support ED decision making re: display of SI data beyond the SI standalone filing.
Options matrix: a) fully open (like BCR) and b) fully closed like LTSA and c) in-between
Identify problems in a list; what meets needs between protecting privacy, ease of use for law enforcement; what are the trade-offs?
RAID [ISSUE] - How should Significant Individual information be shared beyond the standalone filing?#301
Issue
How should Significant Individual information be shared and with whom in the BC Registries modernized app?
The BTR collects personally identifiable information (PII) with the standalone BTR filing and stores it in its own database. Standard workflows within the modernized Registries app integrate filings with other modernized app features such as listing recent filings and paying for and receiving filing documents. However, none of the current filings contain PII; the BTR will be the first filing to contain it.
This raises questions about 1. how much of the BTR data we can share across the modernized app, 2. who it should be shared with and 3. whether we keep the BTR filings more separate than our current design wireframes suggest.
Issue Impact
This issue is urgent as we have nearly completed the standalone filing and next steps are to integrate it appropriately with the rest of the modernized Registries app.
Note that our responses to the project’s PIA and STRA requirements also require answers to the questions of who we share with and how.
