EXEMPTION
AS a company exempt from filing in the Transparency Register (publicly traded company and other tbd exempt scenarios)
I want the ability to identify that I am exempt
SO that I am not presented with messaging, filing options, or to-do list items for the Transparency Register
AND I am not added to voluntary dissolution due to failure to file as the Transparency Register filing is not a requirement
Updates
Provide ability to state a company is public or private in the annual report for BC Companies.
Provide ability to state a company is public or private in the company information page (for BC Companies).
Note: Target date for moving BC Companies (other than Benefit Companies which have migrated) into the modernized system is mid January 15 2025. Policy notes can be found in the 2024-04-10 UX/UI meeting agenda on the ability to include a declaration in an AR ahead of launch of the internal transparency register. Further policy review was received and identified we may also include the ability to specify a company as public or private in the company information page as long as we do not refer to the statement as a declaration
