21.2 Retrospective #21071

Hi there, Thank you for summarizing the retrospective and highlighting both the successes and areas for improvement. It seems like the team has been productive despite some challenges. Here's a breakdown of your points: What went well:

  1. Good collaboration
  2. Quick dev/design check-ins to resolve issues.
  3. Collaboration as well as splitting of work allowed the team to achieve goals.
  4. communication through sre to ministry of forests devs was quick (regarding a prod ops issue with business search)
  5. we had some time to start tech debt tickets.
  6. Organization of BA tasks meant lesser meetings were needed while tickets moved along.
  7. lots of tricky dev things getting figured out.
  8. Good teamwork and knowledge sharing
  9. Great demo and good collaboration with Policy. Prioritization of BA tickets.
  10. getting through a lot in grooming

What Problems did we face :

  1. design being rushed out due to policy changes when dev is already in progress
  2. Policy blockers on long term vision / verification/
  3. Iteration on design work meant re-work of recently completed flows./ Extra resource being sorted.
  4. Tech debt turned bit more chores work then expected Action points/longed for:
