Bill 20 specifies that there must be a process to request that SI information is not released in a public search for reasons such as personal safety.
For 90 days after a SI is added to the record they must be automatically obscured. This allows time for processing of a request to obscure
Requests to obscure to be designed as an online process to avoid personal information being sent into the office and the additional training / storage / staff working in office / and processes.
Staff would require the ability to set a record to obscured if a request to be obscured is approved, or to decline the request to obscure which would mean the record becomes visible after the 90 days
Review of obscure requests would be limited to a small group of staff (to reduce sharing of private information, e.g. senior examiners). The design must include some role based access. Granting access to this can be done manually (likely adding a keycloak group).
