Thanks @forgeuxGH5. Added to the Post MVP Epic. I will review what else is on that epic and may update to include some items with separate tickets in this listing to keep everything in one place.
[ ] Change “company” to “business” throughout the application – BCROS has enacted a naming convention in all of it's applications that refers to all entity types as “business” or precisely by type (e.g., BC Benefit Company)
[ ] Typo in text "List all of the individual who h…" should be plural "individuals"
[ ] External hyperlink on Business Corporations Act section 119.11 (to the precise section anchor) – use style compliant colour underline and external link icon
[ ] Use style compliant colour underline and external link icon for Ministry of Finance website. Use “website” instead of webpage (web page would also be two words) – change throughout the form where this link exists. Links should go directly to the relevant page and section of the Ministry of Finances website for each link.
[ ] Remove “information” from Preferred name label
[ ] Change Preferred Name hint text to “William Smith may prefer to go by Bill Smith to their acquaintances” to: William Smith may prefer to use Bill Smith
[ ] Match table descriptions of control to the input fields Less than 25% 25% to 50% Over 50% to 75% Over 75%
[ ] Toggle percentage selection on/off
[ ] The note for controlling less than 25% is confusing – test this in usability testing.
[ ] Add a tooltip to explain “central securities register” (style tooltip and text according to BCROS style guide)
[ ] Leave space for validation messages in the UI so text or controls do not change/move when messages appear
[ ] Change indirect control help: "...you must determine and list the individual(s)..."
[ ] Acting jointly or in concert help – remove reference to the act and write the explanation in plain language. Add a definition of joint control and more information about “joint” control. Change “All individuals with joint control of the majority of directors must be listed as significant individuals.” to “All individuals with joint or in-concert control of the majority of directors must be listed as significant individuals.”
[ ] Joint / In-concert control change "Important: Once all of your SIs are entered in, you are required to list all individuals who are working jointly in the table below." to "Important: Ensure you list the individuals with joint and in-concert control in the Jointly or in-concert control table.
[ ] Change the name of the "Acting jointly or in concert" table to "Joint or in-concert control"
[ ] Add instructional text explaining how the "Joint or in-concert control" works. "For each person listed below, select the other individuals with which they have joint or in-concert control."
[ ] Change "Individual Connection" to "Joint or In-concert Control"
[ ] The control of votes is confusing and inconsistent – test this in usability testing.
[ ] Remove brackets from "Enter any other reason(s) this individual is a significant individual". Remove (Optional) from any other reasons text field.
[ ] Update validation text wording to follow BCROS standard and style for common/cross application components
[ ] Location description remove (For rural addresses – Optional) – and add a hint: For example, for locations without a civic address or rural locations
[ ] Validation for birthdate – birthdate is one word
[ ] Place the dropdown for Citizenship or permanent residency below the hint text (so the hint text is visible when the dropdown is displayed). Increase line height of dropdown items to match BCROS style. Add a separator line below United States.
[ ] Remove capitalization on “Income Tax”
[ ] Integration with BC Securities Commission for Exempt Entities: The BC Securities commission holds records of which companies are publicly traded. Exemption from filing in the Business Transparency Register exists for a few reasons, one of which is being publicly traded. There could be the ability to leverage information from the BC Securities commission to determine which entities are publicly traded (listed on the exchange) and mark them as exempt. Ongoing work to onboard BC Securities Commission as an API user for entities is underway in https://app.zenhub.com/workspaces/digital-delivery-work-space-new-6583559031df05d7f976ef29/issues/gh/bcgov-registries/digital-delivery/273.
[ ] Warning Message when SOLR reindexing takes place: Weekly on Sunday at 9PM SOLR is reindexed which empties all data and reloads from COLIN, LEAR and BTR. During reindexing SI's aren't being updated promptly. There may be a delay (worst case up to 8 hours). A UI message during re-indexing may be ideal to advise of the potential delay in an SI displaying in search.
[ ] Upload capacity for supporting documents (likely will be tackled in scanning being added by Assets)
[ ] Enhanced filtering functionality for competent authority person search. Could consider name (add filtering by date of birth), info (add filter by tax residency. Note, this is Canada or Non-Tax Resident), details (add filter by business address or shares/votes control)
[ ] SIN Number field is used for Individual Tax Number (ITN). If hyphens are entered an error is thrown that the CRA tax number should not contain special characters. Is this fine as is?
[ ] Update validations when user selects they could not obtain information. Should it all be removed? Should this change to yellow errors? Two possible designs started by Sara. Currently a user can still submit so this meets MVP needs but clients may be confused on how to proceed and not click submit due to the red.
