BA - Review Credential Options for Notaries / Paralegals #21746

Currently lawyers can obtain a Juricert credential which confirms they are a practicing lawyer in the Province of BC. Review is required to determine if similar digital credentials enable identification of practicing Notaries in the Province of BC or Paralegals.

Background: If we can verify a person is a lawyer, notary or paralegal who is bound by a college or other body, we have enhanced trust in their data and could allow that they click a checkbox stating they've verified the ID of an SI they are entering.

@Apt766525 to your second bullet "Lawyers, Notaries, Land Surveyors, Accountants, Financial Officers, and Authorized Subscriber Registers are all eligible" does this mean they are all eligible to request a digital identifier through Juricert?

Discussed today: With Juricert the list above is covered. However, Paralegals are not considered as part of this list.
