Open mstanton1 opened 1 month ago

Mailing address is now optionally collected (UI Design ticket #23043). If a client enters a mailing address in the form that address must be reflected

Design:
Checkbox to enter mailing address: FIGMA FILE

Mailing address added to the table: FIGMA FILE

Follows the same redaction rules as physical address.

Pending confirmation if competent authorities are authorized to search by mailing address. @Apt766525 can you review the legislation that identifies what a user can search by?

@mstanton1 CA's are not authorized to search by mailing address. Search is only by name, registration number and incorporation number.

Suggestion from Policy: To add a note with the physical address - "A physical address at which the significant individual can be found or served documents during regular business hours. This could be a residential address or a work address of the individual. The address provided should not be the address of the individual's legal representative."

Created #23544 for any additional work to restrict search abilities for Competent Authorities. Further inquiry will take place with policy to determine if there are ways to leverage 416 (a) (iii) to prescribe the additional search options so we do not need to remove them from search.

As per our UX/UI meeting on Oct 24th Samar noted that competent authorities can search by any criteria. The search criteria restrictions are for public search access. With this blocker removed, this should be ready for sizing.
