As a Team Lead,
I want to display the user's role (Host, Property Manager, Strata Hotel, or Platform) on the SBC Connect Account Screen,
so that users can easily see their assigned role, or identify if no role has been chosen for the account.
Context:
Each SBC Account userβs role should be visible on the SBC Connect Account Screen after login. Users can see their assigned role immediately. If a role has not yet been assigned, the system should leave the role field blank. The roles are defined as follows:
Host Role
Property Manager Role
Strata Hotel Role
Platform Role
For more clarification on roles see #22689
One account can have only one role associated.
π Business Rules:
[ ] Role Display: If a user has an assigned role (Host Role, Property Manager Role, Strata Hotel Role, Platform Role), it should be displayed next to the corresponding SBC Connect Account on the account selection screen.
[ ] No Role Assigned: If no role has been assigned to the account, the system will display no role, leaving the role field blank.
[ ] Multiple Accounts: If a user has multiple SBC Connect Accounts, the role should be displayed next to each respective account.
[ ] Role Assignment: Roles are determined when the user selects a role during registration or account setup. If a role is not yet selected, it should remain blank on the SBC Connect Account Screen. see #22689
π Story Scenarios:
Scenario 1: Role is displayed for accounts with an assigned role
Given the user is logged in to the SBC Connect Account Screen,
When the user has a role assigned to their account (Host Role, Property Manager Role, Strata Hotel Role, or Platform Role),
Then the system will display the assigned role next to the corresponding SBC Connect Account.
Scenario 2: No role is displayed for accounts without an assigned role
Given the user is logged in to the SBC Connect Account Screen,
When the user has no role assigned to their account,
Then no role will be displayed next to that SBC Connect Account, leaving the role field blank.
Scenario 3: Multiple accounts with different roles
Given the user has multiple SBC Connect Accounts,
When the user views their accounts on the SBC Connect Account Screen,
Then the system will display the appropriate role next to each respective account, or leave it blank if no role is assigned.

π Global Scenarios
## Data Validation
# Mikaela to confirm: Do we need to do these for MVP - data validation required for inputing data in the right format - as defined by business rules.
### Internet Connection
#### Standard Internet Connection
Given I am accessing the website from a standard internet connection
When I navigate to any page on the site
