Help Generate MH Reports to send to BC Housing

Assets team is needed to help provide data for a report of the current state of manufactured housing to be delivered to BC Housing

A few things to note based on the spreadsheet:

• we can get some of the data directly from the MHR database such as the location of the home and total numbers of homes in a home park.
• Assessed value might have to involve BC Assessments
• Not sure about the values under AU234_TOTAL_NUMBER, AU234_TOTAL_ASSESSED_VALUE, Avg Size, or Residents
• Would need to have some help with mapping locations in the MHR with these jurisdictions/jur_codes.
• Using Postal Codes might give us the best chance to map to jur codes

The team is being asked to estimate what our effort looks like, and what sort of hand offs need to occur.

After review with the team, here is what we will need to be able to provide data for columns C & D:

• [ ] Get a mapping tool of some sort and create jur_code buckets (hopefully based on Postal Codes)
• [ ] Get a total list of homes in parks and sort them into the jur_codes
• [ ] Based on the list of homes, get assessed values for each from BC Assessment
• [ ] Add the total assessed values to the jur_codes

We may be able to provide some data for column E & F

• [ ] Get a count of parks in the database for column E
• [ ] Will need BC Assessment's assistance to determine the values for column F

The work could be done within a sprint, but the unknowns around the mapping tool for locations to jur_codes and the dependency with BC Assessment make it difficult to get to a fine grained estimate
