Reviewed in PROD and user names are not showing for the three email addresses in the screenshot above.
User profile first name and last name are required fields when joining an account. I checked this is functioning as expected in TEST today on BCREG0013.
Can you look at why the user names are not showing for the three mentioned?
Added first name and last name for these three users. However there are 944 BCeID users who doesn't have first name or last name. I'll create a bug ticket for further investigate.
I have advised SBC IT Ops that the issue has been resolved and a bug will be created.
Nixon Wenger is still having this issue. @mengdong19
First name and last name added to the two users that missing names (shelly.law@nixonwenger.com andtracy.wilton@nixonwenger.com). @amit4610 Could you please check with the two users see if they input blank as names or they didn't see input name and contact info page at all. We need to rule out redirection issue, these information helps. Thanks.
Thanks Meng. I have raised the question to the business.
Add @amit4610 to follow up with client. Please close it if there's no feedback.
Response from the client - For Tracy, she is still receiving the error message so I cannot sign in for her BC Registries with her credentials. She receives a “Bad Request” notification.
I will check Shelly Law profile in the morning and let you know.
@mengdong19
From Nancy:
Shelly’s profile now displays her name correctly when logged in thank you. Now need to work on Tracy Wilton’s “Error Bad Request”. Will check hers later this afternoon.
Email sent to Lab BA Team:
Tracy Wilton and Alora Regan are part of the account and they should be able to see the details when they login to https://www.bcregistry.ca/business/ using their BCeID.
Christie Anderson’s invitation is expired and I have resent invitation. Christie need to click on the Join Account link in the email and login with their BCeID.
Forwarded email to BCOLHELP. Waiting for Joanna to check with client.
Joanna got this today from the client: @sumesh-aot @thorwolpert
Good morning Joanna,
These 3 are not fixed. Further assistance required.
For Christie Anderson BCeid: ChristieNW Email: Christie.Anderson@nixonwenger.com
I accepted the registry Join Account link, logged her into the acceptance link with her BCeid credentials and yet it does not give access to BC Registries - instead it stays on the screen to verify her identity as if her BCeid account does not exist: It displays this which is should not be:
Tracy Wilton: User: TracyW1 Email: Tracy.Wilton@nixonwenger.com Bad request error message – see below:
Alora Regan: User: Regan_Alora Email: Alora.Regan@nixonwenger.com Bad request error message - see below:
Please escalate this matter further as I have exhausted all resources.
Kind regards,
Nancy Clarke
Prod review today shows Alora Regan and Tracy Wilton are now active team members.
An invitation for Christie Anderson is still showing in the Invitations tab, and an expired invitation for Alora Regan is in the team members tab that can be deleted.
I have sent a note to Nancy to confirm if the error for Christie well joining is the only outstanding issue and to ask if I may set up a call or meeting with Christie to troubleshoot.
The Bad Request is coming from the siteminder UI, normally it occurs when there is an SMSESSION conflict. Please ask them to clear off site cookies and try again.
Response from Nancy today was as follows:
Alora and Tracy may very well be approved on our Account but when signing in with their BCeid’s that error page Bad Request comes up and they can go no further.
Christie - when accepting the invitation to Join Account, the screen below asking her to “verify her identity” comes up when it should not and can go no further.
They are not setting themselves up, I am at their desk so any questions or actions need to come through me and I will log onto their computers to trouble shoot.
Thanks, if you need to call me I am at my desk for a bit now.
I have provided the feedback from Sumesh to clear site cookies and offered to provide browser specific instructions if she confirms the browser they are using. I noted if this does not work I would like to set up a meeting to screenshare and troubleshoot.
Nancy has confirmed:
Thank you.
I was successful accepting the Invitation to Join Account for Christie. However, her BC Registries profile does not display her name and neither does it display in the Team Member profile (see below) this issue has happened before and BCROS was able to fix that – please check Christie’s profile:
@eve-git clearing cookies has enabled the client to add the third person who needs to join the team. However, the user name does not display above the email in the Team Members tab.
Can you please add in the first and last name for Christie Anderson?
@mstanton1 @janisrogers I've updated the db and it's ready to be verified
I added the extra time I spent to the estimate (I think that's our process now)
@kialj876 Clients are still getting the "Bad Batch notification" when signing in for Alora and Tracy.
From Melissa: "Nancy responded on my request to clear cookies. Apparently this is done and she still has two users receiving an error (which can be seen further down in her correspondence). I think this will need dev input on what might be causing the Bad Request and how to fix that."
hmm okay, I don't know enough about the context around this app to help. I will reach out to relationships
isn't this a bug? not ops?
It may be a bug, but we only have a report from one client that this is affecting 2 of her users. I don't know that it is affecting anyone else.
@janisrogers @kialj876 yes, only one account has experienced this so far.
@janisrogers @Kaineatthelab It's a bug #7892 and we haven't prioritized it yet.
The remaining issue on this ticket is not that bug, it is the client getting a "Bad Batch notification" error
this is what sumesh suggested about the bad batch error:
so I think what’s happening is their admin creates BCeID and he/she must be using the same browser session for each
that’s causing issue with siteminder
so clearing off the cookies or trying in an incognito should work
may be ask BA to setup a screen share ?
Reached out with the client to provide information above and request a meeting so we can screenshare. Nancy noted:
Am doing a windows update on Alora’s computer this afternoon then will try again (it’s taking quite a bit of time so not today). I will try accessing BCROS for her after that. If not successful I will let you know.
It would have to be tomorrow morning and only with Alora’s computer (as she is away) so I would sit at her desk. Let’s touch base again in the morning.
She also confirmed:
I create all BCEid users on my computer then give them their credentials to access on their own so no crossing over there. I’ve set up 42 users and these are the 2 giving me the most grief apart from profile issues.
assigning @pwei1018 in case there is something to do on this tomorrow
Error with HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request has been resolved.

In the teams member tab when looking at three members who have been asked to join the team their names do not show.
For the same three team members when they log in the common bar which contains the user name just displays "---"
Users are all using a business BCeID & 2 FA for log on.
