Info re: Coop Restorations Two types of restorations: limited (meaning only restored for a specific period of time - usually no longer than 2 years) and full (restored indefinitely - until they get dissolved)

Business Process

  1. Coop reserves name
  2. Coop gives affidavit to courts
  3. Court files affidavit and coop gives it to registries
  4. Registries gives consent letter to Coop
  5. Coop Publishes their intent to restore in Gazette
  6. Coop sends copy of their intention to registered office address on file
  7. Coop files affidavit and draft order with supreme court to get certified court order
  8. Coop submits certified copy of court order - $250, any ARs - $30 each, and a COA - $20 if applicable
  9. Registries files restoration and any maintenance filings; make coop active again
  10. Registries sends certificate of restoration and a 'maintaining your coop' paper to the Coop
  11. Registries sends restoration message to Gazette

What do we record in COBRS for restoration filing? Type of Restoration: Limited Restoration - LR or Full Restoration - RE Restoration date: YYYYMMDD – filing date Restoration expiry date: YYYYMMDD (only entered if limited restoration) – date taken from the court order Note: we don’t enter court number anywhere Subsequent filings: AR filings in COBRS COA (if applicable) in COBRS Ledger text in COBRS: Court order, Notice of Address (UBC doesn’t pop up as sep item in ledger), (UDI/ADI they have own ledger) - we won't need this in the new world

When importing make Available on paper only for all. When we make this self-serve we'll have outputs.
