Note from Sumesh: currently that’s set as default from notifications api as we are sending the from address. we should be able to customize it if needed.
The notification hardcode the sender email address and it is not easy to have different sender email address setup.
This is not an easy fix. Read Patrick comments for technical details
We can tackle this when we look at the notification work for the entire project.

Hi Trish and Melissa,
My team has noticed that rejected/on hold emails are sent to clients from the bcregistries@gov.bc.ca email address. These are the emails that occur when the BCOnline account admin team review a new BCeID BC business registry account, and it is deficient and needs to be remedied. Quite often these clients are responding back to the email and it comes to my team. My team is then unable to answer the emails, and has to forward them on to Wendy’s team and we forward the email to bconline@gov.bc.ca. Below is a discussion I was having with Wendy regarding this. We are both wondering if we can change the email address, so that these emails come from bconline@gov.bc.ca. If we can’t it’s not too big of a deal, as we could just keep forwarding the emails.
