BUGFIX** Expand code for batch check, swap text -> linked_id

Paired with @brennanwebster to fix some existing batch issues.

This PR includes the following proposed change(s):

• Add missing Validation code for Short_id (was one, now two)
• Switch 'text' to 'linked_id', triggering correct validation
