What projects are impacted by Oracle replacement?

Answers:

• BC Land Title and survey (LTSA) - Updated site details are uploaded to LTSA weekly
• BC Online Site Registry (ESRA) - ESRA loads the data from the Oracle database (not sure on frequency) to a CSV maintained in AWS and in turns loads the CSV to its Postgres DB
• BC Graphical Warehouse - to build the contaminated site layers,(not sure of the frequency and if its a push/pull of the data)
• CATS: Just the Shared Drive - likely no Oracle impact?

Questions:

• Is there a "TEST" environment?
• For DB team: Are there any DB connections or links?

@acoard-aot CATS is connected to SITE using DBLink, so CATS does pull data from SITE Oracle DB through DB Link as mentioned in IRS. https://a100.gov.bc.ca/int/irs/viewApplication.do?name=CATS with a dblink to SIS schema in Oracle ENVPROD1, CATS pulls data from SITE database

This opens up another question is, do we need to open up CATS DB firewall (https://github.com/bcgov/nr-epd-digital-services/issues/194), since it is reading from oracle? we will find out in further discussion.
