Connect PUT end point to edit page

Describe the task Issue: #40 will have created the new end point, this ticket will connect the frontend edit page to that end point

Acceptance Criteria

• [ ] when the submit button is pressed on the edit page the data is updated in the database via the api
• [ ] object returned will include the update time stamp
• [ ] after edit has been completed the page should return to the view page for the event that was modified

• ended up creating a patch end point
• that ticket also ties it together into the frontend
