Looks like the events are building up again and not enough memory to load them and then flush them.

Investigate further and resolve steady state

boosted resources available to the pod to try to resolve startup issues when running in prod

most of the work here has been completed in issue #16. Closing this ticket. Resources were boosted, allowing the pod to actually start and read in all the events that had built up in the database. Additional changes have already been made to cleanup the cache for events that are older than 3 days. Also the listener should now only cache events that are of interest to the logs.
