Setup PDP Training Environment #904

Spin up a copy of production as a training environment for onboarding employees from other ministries currently part of the pilot group.

@Travis-A-Clark This form should allow you to request a new training namespace for the project. It must be submitted by a project owner, or tech lead (which I believe is Kunal). I wouldn't expect there to be much info required to make the request, other than a name for the new resource/namespace, but if there is anything you need from us just let me know.

I submitted a request for a "Training" namespace by creating issue 851 at https://github.com/bcgov/platform-services-registry/

Was not able to set up a new namespace. The team at CITZ feels there is a better solution (see message from Shelly Han at CITZ below). They also want our whole team to go through OpenShift onboarding 101 and 201 even though we are well into using the platform.

I am going to have to get Dennis to connect with them, but discussions of changes to the pipeline might require Kunal or Warren.

As we mentioned, please connect me with your team to discuss the need for another OpenShift project set. If the plan is to deploy a new instance of the service for training purpose, you might not need a different project set. Instead, the training service can be deployed in the same namespace where your current workload is at, we can then look in adding more compute resource for the namespace if needed! Anyway, I’d like to chat with your team and get more information.

@Abuchana This is in progress. Currently, I am setting up and testing the PDP training application deployments/pods in Openshift test namespace. I have set up a new branch "training" in github to be used to deploy the new training environment. I am building and testing the automated deployment pipeline for the new training environment.

@Abuchana It's difficult to provide a fixed date as I am currently working on tasks across PECSF, Digital Journey and PDP projects sharing time/effort. Please let me how soon we need it and I can manage the priorities accordingly. Thanks.

@Abuchana @Travis-A-Clark URL for the Training environment - https://performance-332842-training.apps.silver.devops.gov.bc.ca/. Currently, can login to the app using System admin login. As discussed @telusdcinco,the app needs to be configured for IDIR login.

@Travis-A-Clark Please try logging into the Training environment with your IDIR.

In the absence of cron in Training, the overnight processes were manually run yesterday. PSA, Museum, and SDPR have been enabled to sign in with in-app notification option. I've left the email notification off pending your consideration.

I have tried to login with no issue.

Pending is the application of the latest updates in Training.
