The Range Mobile Pathfinder project is developing a suite of applications to support the sustainable management of cattle range on crown lands in British Columbia.
Please look at Allowable AUMs in the Pasture description and compare with the total AUMs in a schedule in any one year. Is there any connection or is the Allowable AUMs in the Pasture description just a note? I always thought that it was a calculation limit.
I note that the PLD is calculated in the Grazing Schedule.
I am just thinking about this that we would want it to be a limiting factor, but lets discuss when you have a minute down the road.
I am thinking at this point it may be too much coding. It requires the addition within the schedule to come to a total and then compare with the amount in the Pasture Data and give an error if it exceeds the allowable. That is the intent of it. If you could look at what the time commitment would be, that would allow us to make a decision.
