Just a heads up that I rewrote this package using a recent version of the Octokit and Promises while keeping its superstructure and maintaining full compatibility

It now works with the recent changes of the Github API

@bchr02, I understand that you cannot spare the necessary time to continue to maintain it?

bchr02 commented 3 years ago

Correct. I am looking for others to assist me. If you are willing, I can provide access?

mmomtchev commented 3 years ago

access to publish to npm?

bchr02 commented 3 years ago

Yes, both the repo and npm.

Well, I am sorry but I need this for other reasons: I am jobless and in a few months I won't be able to afford to pay rent and buy food I am in the middle of a huge scandal where a politically-connected guy a very serious problem is playing a vicious game where he tries to swindle people into committing felonies so that he can use them in a huge extorsion over a personal issue Most of the JavaScript ecosystem, some very large GIS companies, a large startup accelerator in Paris and French judicial systems officials are involved and are so embarrassed in this affair that they will do anything to make me disappear from public view. Unless I am able to demonstrate very strong skills to get something on upwork or similar, I will be out scavenging for food very soon. Try to understand my situation - the story is almost difficult to believe and I need to eat.

It is so difficult to believe you shouldn't have even mentioned it. In fact, why did you? Are you seeking compassion or pity? If your goal is to contribute to the open source community then do it. There is plenty of work needing to be done in open source. I would have been willing to give you access but now that you mentioned all of this I'm not sure what your true motives are or convinced that you are capable of managing this repo. I hope you resolve your issues, but I want no part of your dilemma... Please respect that. Good luck!
