Most papers present participant characteristics in table 1. Ours should do something like this as well. It would be great to have columns defined by dataset (e.g., regards) and rows by characteristics.

Which characteristics to include?
Do all the datasets need to have characteristics in this table?
Minor: which covariates would be expressed as mean (SD) versus median (25th, 75th %), or both?
A good activity for day 2 would be to let a small group work on developing code for tabulating characteristics using the gtsummary package.
