[Request] Set default output #90

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

Currently, whenever SoundFlower is started, it sets the output on it to 'None'.
If there was a way to have an option to have a default output, or if
SoundFlower could remember the last output set on restart, that would be great!
It's not a huge hassle to have to pick an output every time I start
SoundFlower, but it would be a nice added touch if I didn't.

+1, I use soundflower on a mac mini for my home theater, to work around OSX's
poor HDMI and general audio handling (volume control, channel levels, system
EQ, etc..). I always want it to output to HDMI but have to set it back whenever
a reboot is necessary.

We leave the home theater mini on all the time (backup system, apple tv, VPN
streaming, etc.

We just turn the TV off.

But when you turn the TV back on the sound flower resets to "None (off)"

Please allow a setting to always be set to HDMI.

Is there any solution or script I can use to automate this process??

Also, I cannot find documentation on how to change the output on terminal
