Contributor stuff #113

Closed bdarcus closed 11 months ago

Features:

The first one, alas, requires some significant refactoring, converting a lot of methods that currently return strings into ones that return vectors of strings ( because easier to process).

Fixes:

bdarcus commented 11 months ago

Interim stage, after wasting a lot of time on the first and third items.

Issues:

  1. single contributors not respecting as_sorted
  2. ~minor, but I think need to remove the second comma in Gunderson, Alex R, & Manuel Leal~
  3. Need to implement logic to make "and" and "and others" handling mutually-exclusive.
  4. Need to squash a couple of commits, I think.

The below turned up a problem, however:

The Processor holds the locale data, but the formatting methods are on the Contributor.

Refactor complete, and features work. In this example "and other" min is set to a low 3, and "use" 1, for illustration.

I've decided to merge this without the "role" stuff, since I spent enough time on this refactor, and it may be a little tricky also.
