Can channel 16 be added? #3

Channel 16, 916.49 MHz, is used by "dead rail" systems. Could support for this be added. As far as I can tell, airwire supports this channel.

The radio can be configured to operate at different frequencies in the 'SetRadioChannel' function. I've only included 8 channels in the presets as I didn't have an easy way to select which one to use, but it is quite easy to add additional channels. I'd planned to support channels 0-15 as shown in the comments and can easily add them. However the frequency you mention (916.49) doesn't easily fit into the 250kHz channels that I've been using. Are you sure this is the correct frequency?

ya, not so sure about that now. the DRS1 from Tam Valley states it uses 916.49, and that the CVP T5000 can talk to it on channel 16. However, CVP states 16 is 916.37. the DRS1 also states that it can interfere with anything .5mhz in either direction, so maybe close enough?

If you can make a way for JMRI to talk to these receivers, this request is moot.

Sorry to jump into the pool after so much time has elapsed, but the Tam Valley Depot DRS1, Mk III, will definitely receive on Airwire Channel 16. Of course, you have probably figured that out by now...
