I'm using codekit on my desktop iMac and MBP, and I'm a happy license holder. On my MBP, everything is working great, however on the iMac, codekit is using exorbitant amounts of memory. Both are running 1.5.1, and have essentially the same specs and setup.
On my MBP Codekit idles at 168mb, while on my iMac it idles at 1.88gb, and runs up to 4.5gb when compiling a single LESS file to CSS, and hangs for about a minute before completing the compile. I'm working on the same files on both computers.
I've attempted disabling all of my Chrome extensions, since I read about issue with that. I'm at a loss about how to fix my iMac version. I've tried removing the application, and installing a fresh version to no avail.
I found another thread where it was advised to quit the app and reopen it while holding down the shift key. This seems to have solved this issue, as memory issues are now normal.
