PNGCrush failed to run correctly #682

Closed thgaskell closed 7 years ago

thgaskell commented 10 years ago

Every time I try to optimize an image Codekit crashes (version 1.9).

I reset my computer and created a new project folder with no project settings applied, but no luck. The issue is not specific to a single image or a single project.

Possibly related to #53.

Hi Tony,

The problem is that you're still on 10.7 and the newest version of PNGCrush fails on that OS. Open CodeKit in the Finder, right-click and choose "show package contents". Find a file named "pngcrush" and replace it with the unzipped, older version of the attached. That should solve the issue.

You could also download it from sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pmt/files/pngcrush/

Of course, Apple releases their new OS for free the day after I submitted this.. :)
