Hmm.. 3MB of bandwidth over 4 hours seems pretty normal. There's nothing that CodeKit does that would consume more bandwidth, other than reloading assets as you work. CodeKit does disable caching so that the latest versions of assets are always loaded—this is what you want in a development environment.
3MB? Sure you are not meaning GB? That's hardly noticeable.
I've been having an issue with Codekit's Preview using a large amount of my clients' bandwidth whenever I use it. For example, last night I worked on a site for about 4 hours and it used up 3MB of bandwidth which exceeded the cap I put on the account. Is that normal? Is there a way to minimize it?
