WebEx does not use the official screensharing API. That's why it murders battery and CPU. Muzzle works with any app that uses the macOS API for screensharing.
Not to be argumentive, but this has been working fine until recently. Was I just lucky somehow?
Hmm, I'm not sure. Recent WebEx update? Have you tried restarting your Mac? Verified that Muzzle still has accessibility access? Do you have your menubar set to auto-hide?
I try to keep WebEx updated, so yes but I always have. I can restart my Mac and test. I'll provide feedback. I checked accessibility access, it's good. The menubar is not set to auto-hide.
Side note that may fix this on its own, my company is transitioning to MS Teams. I have no idea if Teams uses the macOS API for screen sharing. Is Muzzle compatible with Teams?
Thank you again for your help and patience.
Sorry for the delay...
I just ran a test by rebooting the Mac, starting a WebEx, and sharing my screen. DND did not change.
Do you have any thoughts about my question for MS Teams?
Thank You again
DND is not triggered for WebEx 41.7.7.9 and MacOS 11.5.1.
I have confirmed that DND was not triggered before a screen share was started to ensure Muzzle didn't revert from what was the existing status. DND did not get enabled during or after the screen share.
Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide that can assist in helping troubleshoot this challenge.
Thank you
