Nonresponsive injector #139

In the past week or so, the injector sometimes goes nonresponsive. It appears to still be running in tmux. It does not raise any exceptions. It is not getting stuck on a single packet.

It seems to happen especially when devices are all trying to flush their queues (heavy traffic).

This started happening after merging the new device protocol, so may be related.

We've determined that the issue was with mySQL and have temporarily resolved the issue while moving away from using a database.
