I have phpcs installed already on my MacOS. So have been using it via command line, but after the installation of this plugin I get a grayed out option and can not use it.

Any ideas?

Try to use some fork that maybe fix this. Main project is a bit outdated :-(

Unfortunately I am getting the same thing. Anyone else having these issues?

Probably the profile that starts netbeans through the icon does not have the path to phpcs set. Profile that runs application is a different one than the one you're logged in.

The simple test is to run netbeans from the command line /Applications/NetBeans/NetBeans\ 6.8.app/Contents/MacOS/netbeans. The option should not be grayed out.

Me too, the option is grayed out. I'm running Netbeans 6.8 on a Linux box. I tried starting Netbeans from the main menu and from the command line as suggested. The problem remained the same, the option is grayed out.

Now I wonder where to find the fork..

I used the instruction msuterski suggested and it worked. How do i change the profile that runs the application?

Hi. Same problem (windows 7 32bit + netbeans 6.9.1). Did someone find a solution? Tried to execute netbeans from command line but didn't work. Thanks.
