wrong speeds (?) #2

I don't know if it's me doing something wrong or if there's an issue in the program? I didn't find anything wrong with the code afaik.

Anyhow here's my problem, running on Dell PowerEdge R710 with dual Xeon X5560

What I know: The .jar is running and it is doing it's job, the fan speeds went down from abt 6000 to 3360. However, based on following config and temps (which average out to 27°C), shouldn't the fans be running at speeds even lower than that (in this case, 9% which should be abt 1080)?

Here's screenshots of the temperatures, the config and iDRAC fan readout. Screenshot_13 Screenshot_14

I also wanted to thank you for making this, it has already helped me a lot 😄

Terribly sorry for my late reply.
I agree that it should be technically the lower value but I'm also sure that this is probably some wonky-ness in how the temperatures are averaged and rounded. I'm not entirely sure that I can think of a fix since the temperatures might fluctuate between calls and I'd rather have the tool to lean towards the higher side of the fan speeds vs. cooking a CPU...
So I am entirely not sure if and how to fix this one... Sorry :(

So I was intrigued and manually set the speed on my 710 to 9% but only 3 fans did so. So I can not exclude that there are Hardware restrictions to consider as well.
