Drained and Reattached BAP/BPP Worker Nodes Post Server Upgrade

Description

Following a recent server upgrade, we need to drain and reattach the BAP (Business Application Platform) and BPP (Business Partner Platform) worker nodes to ensure that they are properly integrated and operational in the updated environment. Draining the nodes will safely evict all running pods and ensure that they are not scheduled on the nodes during the upgrade. Reattaching the nodes involves bringing them back into the cluster and verifying their proper integration.

Goals

• [x] Drain BAP/BPP worker nodes to safely evict all running pods.
• [x] Upgrade or perform necessary maintenance on the nodes.
• [x] Reattach the worker nodes to the cluster.
• [x] Verify that the nodes are functioning correctly and are part of the cluster.
• [x] Ensure that all services and pods are correctly rescheduled and operational on the reattached nodes.
• [x] Document the process and any issues encountered during the operation.

Expected Outcome

• BAP/BPP worker nodes are successfully drained, upgraded, and reattached to the cluster.
• All services and pods are rescheduled and running as expected on the upgraded nodes.
• Node health and integration are verified, ensuring no disruptions in service.
• Documentation is provided detailing the process, including any issues and resolutions.

Drained and Reattached BAP/BPP Worker Nodes Post Server Upgrade on june 25th. updating the ticket on 2nd of Aug. on july 31st AWS cost optimization have been carried out and some of the ec2's were shut down so for this i don't have Proof of completion as vistaar-k8's instances are down.
