Debug PS Issue in BOC Environment and Added Layer to Config

Description

Collaborated with Abhishek to debug a PS (Protocol Server) issue in the BOC environment. During the process, an additional layer was added to the configuration to resolve the issue and enhance the system's configurability.

Goals

• [x] Debug the PS issue in the BOC environment with the help of Abhishek.
• [x] Identify the root cause of the problem and apply necessary fixes.
• [x] Add a configuration layer to improve system flexibility and address the identified issue.
• [x] Test the updated configuration to ensure the issue is resolved and the PS operates as expected.

Expected Outcome

The PS issue in the BOC environment is successfully debugged and resolved, with an additional configuration layer implemented to enhance system functionality and maintainability.

After adding a layer2 configuration to climate_1.1.0.yaml, we encountered an issue—the PS EC2 instances stopped responding. To resolve it, we temporarily removed climate_1.1.0.yaml and restarted the PS, which brought everything back to normal.

After discussing this with Abhishek, we renamed the file to resilience_climate_1.1.0.yaml, and it worked without any issues.
