Hey, not a real issue but wasn't sure how best to contact you and incase you don't think there's a need for it, this would serve as a way for people to register interest.

Would it be possible for you to set up github sponsors or similar? I'd love to sponsor development work on this awesome project :-)

I have this set up at the moment. I can look into Github Sponsors when time allows.

Thank you :)

Regarding your message: if you're proposing improving the GRUB+BTRFS situation from Bedrock's side, note a work-around is already on the roadmap for 0.8.0. It requires a fairly deep change that can't be trivially backported to 0.7, and is part of why 0.8 development is currently favored over continued 0.7 development. There isn't much that can be done to expedite the GRUB situation from Bedrock's side at this point.

If you're proposing improving it from GRUB's side, you're certainly welcome to ahead there as far as I'm concerned. However, note that plenty of people have tried already, and apparently it's not an easy fix at all. Those that tried and reported back only reported their difficulties, while others stopped reporting back at all. Moreover, from Bedrock's perspective, any time/money spent there will only help with 0.7; by 0.8.0 it won't make a difference.
