My intention was to make it as easy as possible to understand bedrocklinux on first contact.
While I appreciate your intention here, I don't find any of your proposed changes improve things.
I've trial-and-error'd explaining what Bedrock is for over a decade and am largely resigned to the current description. While I understand it may not be perfectly suited to any one individual - such as yourself - moves to make it more understandable for to you are prone to making it less for others. Moreover, I'd rather spend the limited resources available working on improving Bedrock itself, rather than getting lost bikeshedding,
I'll try to edit a bit more taking into account your valuable comments.
Will leave a comment here when ready, ok?
In the end it's just an additional overview section, written without the immense detailed background you have. If you really want I don't see much of a problem to leave index.md unchanged, or just sort out/list the sentences.
Not okay, no. While I do see how you mean well here and are trying to help, all of the changes you've proposed have been problematic. Had I more time, I'd certainly prefer to iterate with you to find a mutually agreed improvement, but frankly I don't. Bikeshedding here comes at the expense of more meaningful work elsewhere, and it's not fair to the rest of the Bedrock community to spend limited resources this way.
Just a suggestion to make it easier for newcomers to grasp the concept, a contribution to review and redact freely.
