ME Patterns Interface doesn't work with 'P2P Tunnel - ME Interface' from NAE2 #40

I described this issue on NAE2 page (link) The author replied that the problem may be with this mod's implementation of ME Interface. (P2P Tunnel - ME Interface description on wiki) It would be great if there is some way to make it work
