Makes no sense, because Overwatch does not support DLSS at all. Therefore no DLSS DLL can be swapped.

Call of Duty does and its on bnet as well :| i think OW2 supports dlss now but not 100%

beeradmoore commented 1 year ago

From what I can see online OW2 still does not support DLSS, but it does support FSR 1.0.

Good morning,

Do you have any new compatibility information with battle.net ? Diablo IV is DLSS compatible for example ?

Thanks in advance

beeradmoore commented 1 year ago

Sorry we do not. Generally we advise against using DLSS in online multiplayer games as certain anti-cheat software could possibly flag it as tampered files.

HarryKleins commented 1 year ago

thanks for your response. So Battle.net will never be compatible?

beeradmoore commented 1 year ago

It can someday be compatible, but we just don't recommend swapping DLSS for online multiplayer games.

But that goes for any game library regardless of it is battle.net or even steam.

We don't have the ability to test what game is multiplayer and what isn't so we can't put in the second warning. I believe we still have one on first launch though.

HarryKleins commented 1 year ago

It is normal that you cannot test all the games ^^ After for the moment I have never had a problem with online games when I modify the DLSS.

I never thought of a possible banishment when you modify the DLSS.

beeradmoore commented 1 year ago

It's not even testing them that is the entire problem. What is allowed today may not be allowed tomorrow.

DaddyCouch commented 3 months ago

Hi, now overwatch 2 supports DLSS but it is not in the list. I saw people that did it. How? Thx.

Zagrthos commented 3 months ago

You can switch the DLLs of Overwatch 2 manually if you want but it's not recommended. This is an online game and some of the Anti-Cheat mechanisms will detect a manipulation of game files when you do this.

So unless there is a specific reason you want to change let it be and just stay on the version they provide you.

This goes for all online games.
