Hi,

This is a feature request for the possibility to connect litcd to eventlitcd to 
enable IR blasting trough one socket...

it is a problem because xbmc only supports one lirc socket so you can´t use 
both eventlircd and lircd at the same time...

this feature would solve that problem...

Yes that is me! :-)

But still there is no way to use the sendir from inside xbmc due to the one 
socket problem...

you need to use a external script to sen ir commands through the correct socket.
